Jack Hody Johnson popularly known as Jack Johnson is a musician who is into Soft rock, Acoustic and pop Rock. The musician released his debut album in 2001 entitled “Brushfire Fairytales” which had some commercial success. The Musician was born on the 18th of May in Oahu, Hawaii.
Johson records at his studio the Mango Tree Studio along with band members Topol and Podlewski and Zach Gill of the Animal Liberation Orchestra. The group plays accordion, melodic and piano. Together they recorded the 2005 album “In Between Dreams”. Jack Johnson also did a sound track for the Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies fro the film Curious George, which was released on February 7 2006. The soundtrack made it to number 1 to become the first soundtrack since Bad Boys II soundtrack in August 2003. The soundtrack by Jack Johnson also became the first soundtrack to top the Billboard 200 since the Pocahontas soundtrack in July 1995.
Jack went on to do something that music has never seen before. Jack contacted J.P. Plunier to produce his album entitled “Sleep through the static”. This album was recorded only on solar energy. The album featured performances from Gill (on keys), Podlewski (on Bass) and Topol (on Drums and percussion). The album was completed and released on the 1st of February 2008. After the album Jack went on tour. This time around Jack has released yet another album entitled “Man of the World”, which was released on the 9th of February 2010. Jack is currently working on another album which is entitled “To the sea”. It is reported that after the completion of the album it is going to be released world wide and will be followed by a tour.
