Carole King was born in Brooklyn, New York on Feb 9, 1942. She plays the piano, writes and sings songs. Her best album ‘Tapestry’ was at the top of the US charts for a full 15 weeks in 1971 and remained in the charts for over 6 years.

SHOOTING STARS

Between them they have won 9 Grammy Awards – five for him and four for her. In November 2009 they announced that they would be touring the world together in memory of their first show in 1970 at the The Troubador. It is a club in Los Angeles where many stars like Elton John and Neil Diamond were discovered.
