Ticket Genie Announces the Sale of Augusta Tickets on Website

April 9, 2011- The ticket sales vendor known for their affordable prices on concert, theater and sporting tickets have announced that Augusta tickets are now being offered through the Ticket Genie website.

The Masters golf tournament in Georgia kicks off with defending champion Phil Mickelson looking to win the third green jacket of his career.   The Masters is one of the four major professional golf tournaments of the year.  Unlike other tournaments, this prestigious championship match is always held is Augusta, Georgia at the private Augusta National Golf Club, on a par 72 course.  Tickets to this event are a great opportunity, to see living legends such as Tiger Woods play the game. 

The club is filled with many long standing traditions.  The most popularly known is that the winner receives a green jacket.  This has been a custom since 1949.The record for the most green jackets ever won goes to Jack Nicklaus with six, followed by Tiger Woods and Arnold Palmer, with four each.  This is going to be an exciting Masters this year, and fans are settling in for a golf-filled week.  The tournament always ends on the second Sunday of April.
