Sugarland is an American duo, specializing in singing country music. The duo comprises of vocal leader Jennifer Nettles as well as lead and background vocalist Kristian Bush. Kristian also plays the guitar, mandolin and harmonica. Kristian and Kristen Hall are the founders of the group and were later joined by Jennifer. Sugarland began signed up in 2004 with Mercury Nashville Records. Their first single Baby Girl broke the ice that same year paving way for the rest of the album Twice the Speed of Life. Before long the album was multi-platinum. Two years later, Enjoy the Ride was released which had songs like Stay and Wanting. Love on the Inside is their third album which was released in 2008. The Incredible Machine will be their fourth album and will be released in October. All their albums have managed to sell more than four million copies each. Twice the Speed of Life and Enjoy the Ride are triple Platinum albums in the US alone. Love on the Inside is a double Platinum album. In Canada, the albums sales reached gold.
Although Sugarland is comprised of young people, they are great musicians. Their talent has been rewarded time and time again. This hasn't been only through album sales alone.
