Daltrey fans are all scrambling to score cheap Roger Daltrey tickets.
The Who's singer-songwriter Roger Daltrey has come a long way from being a boy constructing his first guitar out of a block of wood, to being a musician-cum-sheet metal worker. He formed a band called The Detours, which eventually became The Who in 1964. In 1965, after a violent encounter with the drummer, Keith Moon, Daltrey was kicked out of the group. Moon, it has been learned, was selling drugs to the other band members. A week later, Daltrey was admitted back to the band, on the grounds that he doesn't hit people in the group again. Daltrey continued to perform with the band, wowing audiences with his signature move of swinging the mic on stage.
Apart from music, Daltrey also dabbled into acting, and won a Golden Globe Award for his acting debut in a film adaptation of Tommy. His movie appearances include McVicar (1980), The Beggar's Opera (1984), Dark Prince: The True Story of Dracula (2000), Best (2000), Strange Frequency 2 (2001), Chasing Destiny (2001), .com for Murder (2002), and Johnny Was (2006).
